Yuri Claxton

As a wife and mother of two, dance has always been part of who I am. From folk traditions and Sinulog festivals to cheerleading and competitions, movement shaped my journey. For 13 years in the U.S., I’ve shared that passion through Mabuhay and now inspire others as a Group Fitness Instructor.

My journey with the Philippine Mabuhay Cultural Filipino in Tucson has been a heartfelt celebration of identity and pride. Through every song and dance, I honor our heritage, resilience, and community. Performing has strengthened my confidence, deepened my roots, and inspired me to share the vibrant spirit of the Philippines.
